Goodbye Facebook. Hello Twitter

I never thought I would ever consider leaving my loyalties to Facebook especially to the likes of Twitter but it’s happening. I have had a change of heart. I guess I owe my husband an apology cause he’s been selling me on joining Twitter from the beginning and I resisted adamantly . He was like the 25th Twitter member and now it’s what all the cool kids are doing, including me!

Now don’t get me wrong. I do still love Facebook for certain things like staying in touch with my husband’s extended family in Powell River who are all great at updating their photos and status. But I’m finding myself losing interest in updating my page and not being as involved or engaged with Facebook. You would think after 3 years, 82 photo albums and a million status updates I’d be loyal to Facebook forever….. that is not the case. Although I’ll never delete my account I will be using less and less. I don’t know if Twitter will captivate my attention for a long time or what new social media craziness I’ll actively participate with in the future. For now Twitter has me in a happy place. I’m just waiting for the rest of my world to follow.
