World Parrot Refuge
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting a whole bunch of new friends. In all shapes and sizes, these birds had me at hello. Did you know that parrots are not meant to be our pets? Did you know that in the wild parrots fly in flocks?
Meet Wendy. She has dedicated the last 13 years of her life to these birds and you just have to meet her and her volunteers to know how passionate they are about this cause.
Spread the word… donate a bit of cash or any of the supplies Wendy needs… participate in their virtual adoption program or just tell others to visit the birds at her refuge! Every bit helps!
