Escape for Kate? Baby for Demi? Rockstar & Idol news too…

There’s some mixed reviews of the state of Cruise and Holmes in the smut-sites today. Some are saying that Katie has already made the decision to make a clean break from her koo-koo hubby, after finding out that he wants her to sign over full custody of their unborn child. That’s what Gossip or Truth is spreading. On the flip-side there’s buzz that these crazy kids have tied the knot secretly. The National Enquirer is stating that the two sealed the deal four months after they met in a secret ceremony aboard the yacht owned by the Church of Scientology. Personally, I hope that Katie gets a reality check and takes off like a bat out of hell. Here’s hoping she can salvage her career and her dignity after this fiasco!!

Also making headlines-there’s news that Demi might be preggers with Ashton’s baby. I know, we’ve heard this before, but Star mag is claiming that the news came from Ashton himself. I guess only time will tell. Stay tuned for future preggo pics of Demi. As for my take on the preggo news? I think it’s a great way for those two to tell the world to stick it where the sun don’t shine. After much bad talk about their age difference and the “its just a fling” factor… the Kutcher-Moores will have more proof that these two are actually in love…. with a bun in the oven to boot.

Idol kicked off one of their top 12 last night, saying ta ta to Melissa McGhee. (boo- I’m a McGhee fan). If you’re looking for who I’ve got my money on.. I’ve got the McPheever… watch for Katherine McPhee to take it all the way to the end.

Reality-show-king Mark Burnette and his hit show Rock Star is about to launch its second season, after seeing much success last year with INXS’s search for their new lead. After much speculation and false rumors (eg. Van Halen, Queen), it looks like their spinning this series a bit differently this season. It’s gonna be a collaboration of musicians from several big name bands (Motley Crue, GunsNRoses, Metallica). They are calling themselves Supernova.
